Manatomy? I love this. His nose especially, for some reason. Also digging how the skull is centered at his clavicles. All in all, this is wonderful! :0
heehee, thanks <3 I THINK YOU DO MANATOMY (man + anatomy? anatomy of guys!11 I'm still used to drawing girls, so it shows and they are not man enough) THE BESTS, THOUGH.
I haven't heard from you in a while; hows it going?! KEEPING SAEF?!
Well, re the manatomy, perhaps you could make the upper arm shorter--I'm aware that this long-thin-armed look is a popular style, but real humans generally have the elbow about level with the bottom of the ribcage. And on...his right arm, the straight one, the elbow looks rather more like a knee instead, perhaps you could avoid this in future pictures with a more subtle depiction of the joint.
*nodnods* I think I tend to make ribcages more tapered than they should be-- I know intellectually that elbow's about level with ribcage base, but see, the problem comes in when I don't draw the ribcages properly. XDDD
I'm fond of pointy joints, but you're right: that elbow looks funny. XD I think I had some idea about foreshortening that got aborted and didn't turn out how I wanted it to, but then I just gave up. Haha. XD;
I was expecting more crit about his AWFUL MANBOOBS (he's supposed to be skinny, so not so much muscle, but I still get the feeling they're off) actually. I am awful at pecs and how they gradually segue into the collarbone/shoulders area, and uh, nipples. I can't draw them without giggling hideously.
Thanks for the comments, though. I'll keep those in mind.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
